Topic :  Internet anonymity should be enforced.

Everyday we communicate with other people, such as friends, parents, strangers, etc. When we communicate with these people face-to-face, especially with strangers, we do not abruptly use bad words to them because me and a stranger met for the first time. When I use bad words abruptly to strangers, I can be treated as rude person, and also I can be sorry to a stranger. However, on the internet, these situations are occured frequently. Lots of people use malicious comments to strangers while they are playing internet games, chatting, writing a comment, etc, and they actually do not care of other people's mind when they saw this. As a result, victims of malicious comments can be hurt but cannot discover keyboard warrier because they use their own nickname, not a realname. To solve this problem, in spite of freedom of expression, internet anonymity should be enforced.

Before I start this essay, I will explain netiquette for people who do not know this term. Netiquette is combination of network and etiquette. In other words, as there is etiquette in social activity, there is also etiquette in network activity. We call this netiquette. I will define internet anonymity. I defined internet anonymity as revealing only his or her name. Namely, internet anonymity is that netizen can't post on the internet without real name and resident registration number. Furthermore, Internet anonymity was enforced in 2007, however it was discontinued because of citizen's complaint. Last, all I'm saying is in case of Korea. For these backgrounds, I think internet anonymity should be enforced although internet anonymity was discontinued because of citizens' protests. There are 3 reasons why I support this resolution.

First, when internet anonymity enforced in Korea, people are hard to say bad words to other people. If internet anonymity executed in Korea, lots of people can't raise his or her posts or comments badly. Consequently, the number of internet bullying will be decreased and as a result, victims who damaged by internet bulling will be decreased too. Also, internet anonymity can make good internet culture. If internet anonymity enforced, people will think once again before they comment something through internet. Through these process, cyber bullying will decrease sharply and make a orderly internet culture. According to statistics, 63.1% of teenagers in Korea agreed with internet anonymity as well. Furthermore, 63% of people experienced internet bullying and among these people, 37% of people responded that when they went through internet bullying, they felt so bad. In addition, 62.7% of teenagers believed that internet anonymity can reduce internet bullying. In addition, a professor named 이재교 wrote a column in 2004. In this column, cyber bullying cannot be neglected anymore and the majority of people already agreed about internet anonymity.

Second, Internet anonymity can improve national security. According to YTN news in 2012, North Korea had been attacked South Korea since December 10, 2010. Also, North Korea's cyber attack is steadily intellectualized. According to government announcement, there are 40 thousand spies in South Korea. However, we don't know how many spies are in cyber space.  If government neglect these attacks, South Korea will be collapsed because of cyber attack. To prevent this, internet anonymity should be enforced to filter North Korean spy.

Third, some people said that internet anonymity can invade freedom of expression, and they say internet anonymity should occur personal information leakage. However, I don't think that internet anonymity cannot invade these things. Freedom of expression is still available. We can raise our posts and there is no need to worry about revealing your identity. Your expression is free unless you do not break the law. Also, personal information leakage can be prevented by administrating individuals information carefully. Since much of information leakage are caused by individuals fault, if individuals manage themselves thoroughly, personal information leakage can be hardly happen.
Also, some says that after internet anonymity enforced, internet bullying decreased only 1.7%. It's true, however, percentage of 1.7% is small, however, the number of actual internet bullying is enormous.

To sum up, internet anonymity should be enforced. I mentioned that after internet anonymity enforced, lots of people will think once again about their comments and as a result, internet bullying will be decreased sharply. Next, internet anonymity can improve national security, and I mentioned an example of North-Korea's cyber attack. Last, as a refutation, some people said that internet anonymity can occur personal information leakage, and invade freedom of expression, however, I think it can be solved by managing themselves and writing comments legally. Cyber space is very very scary place because lots of people freely write their thoughts although their thoughts can damage other people. However, if internet anonymity enforce immediately, people who wrote bad comments can think once again and as a result, internet can be a orderly place and anyone will be damaged by internet bullying.
